Chanukah Hallel
On the first morning of Chanukah, women from across the Baltimore community gathered for an uplifting Women’s Hallel, hosted by Let’s Connect!.
The gathering took place at Congregation Tiferes Yisroel and drew a large turnout, with many women expressing how meaningful it felt to begin Chanukah together.
Before the singing began, Rebbitzen Rochel Naiman offered words that resonated deeply with those present. Her reflections helped set the tone for the morning—one of gratitude and hope. When the group joined together in Hallel, the room filled with song, creating a powerful sense of unity and purpose.
Many women lingered afterward, savoring the opportunity to be together in such an uplifting space. Many shared how energizing it was to begin Chanukah by singing words of praise and thanksgiving as a group.
Let’s Connect!, a new non-profit that offers programming for vibrant women 50 and over, has a variety of offerings in January.
On January 11, Winter Circles begin. Circles are small, welcoming groups that bring women together to pursue a common interest. There are learning circles, art circles, creative writing circles, and more. Circles meet weekly for 6 weeks.
The next Women’s Hallel will take place on Rosh Chodesh Shvat, January 19 at Congregation Tiferes Yisroel (Rabbi Goldberger’s Shul) from 9:15 -9:45 am. It will be led by Rebbitzen Rusi Steinhardt.
On January 24, the Let’s Connect will have a Melave Malka. “The Game Plan,” an evening of camaraderie, community, and challenge, will take place at the Towers Clubhouse.
As winter’s chill sets in, Let’s Connect! opens its doors to women 50+ to share warmth, friendship, and a wide range of enriching activities.
Registration for Circles and the Melave Malka is open at letsconnectbaltimore.org/winter/circles. The women’s Hallel does not require registration.
