The Beauty Edit
Practical Ideas for Looking and Feeling Your Best
Sometimes a small change in a routine can make a surprising difference.
On August 12, Let’s Connect gathered at the JCC Park Heights for The Beauty Edit, an evening devoted to practical sheitel care, skin care, styling, and the colors we wear.
Pam Kanter shared approachable skin-care guidance, with an emphasis on simple routines and treatments that can realistically become part of everyday life. The focus was not on an overflowing shelf of products or complicated regimens, but on understanding what can help skin look and feel healthier.
Stacy Spiegelman brought the conversation to sheitels, offering practical care and styling ideas and looking at how different choices can create a look that feels flattering and personal.
Together, the presentations made the evening less about following trends and more about knowing what works for you.
That distinction matters. At this stage of life, women know themselves considerably better than they did decades ago. Personal style does not have to mean chasing every new look. It can mean editing, refining, and making thoughtful choices about what makes us feel comfortable and confident.
The Beauty Edit added a lighter dimension to Let’s Connect’s summer calendar while still offering something useful to take home. It was an evening about care, style, and giving some attention to ourselves, shared in the company of other women.
